Our Rigs

MGI Tonker 830

These solar piling rigs can install a range of up to 5.1m or 6.1m piles. Our Tonker 830 rigs capable of installing 6.1m piles are also equipped with self levelling features.

The Tonker 830 rig is one of the most sought after rigs for installing Solar PV farms in the UK.

Thanks to its power of 950 Joule and a range of 650 -1500 strokes/min, the Tonker 830 provides outstanding performances in the ramming step phase.

Orteco 1200j

Like the Tonker 830, ORTECO HD pile drivers are designed and built to take on tough jobs.

The more robust frames, the greater hammer powers and the consequent increase in weight, give the series “HEAVY DUTY” the right features for long lasting pile driving shifts.

Thanks to its power of 1200 Joule and a range of 570 -1180 strokes/min, the Orteco 1200j provides outstanding performance.

We Hire Piling Rigs

At IBEX Solar and Piling Ltd (IBEX S&P), we pride ourselves in providing cost effective and robust pile rig hiring services for a very wide range of projects ranging from small-scale residential developments to large mega solar farms.

We own MGI Tonker 830's and Orteco 1200j's which are able to install steel screw piles, mini-RC piles, mini-CFA piles up to 300mm in diameter (or 10”).
